Edward Henry

Edward Henry, age 96, of Butler, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011,at his home. Mr. Henry was born in East Orange, NJ, the son of the late Frank and the late Edith (Shenise) Henry. He proudly served in the Air Force during World War II and worked for New Jersey Public Service in Riverdale, NJ and Jordan Bus Company in Butler as a bus driver before retireing. He is survived by his devoted wife, Helen E. (Brisee) for 68 loving years, a beloved daughter, Alana Schmicker and husband Robert, three loving sisters, Ruth Hunt, Gilberta Dunn and Carolyn Gray, four loving grand children and one adored great grandchild. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Edward was pre deceased by a daughter, Cynthia Anderson, and a brother Walter. Viewing hours will be Monday, December 5th, 2011, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 10:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler. NJ.
