Edward J. Kaczka, age 94, of Lincoln Park, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. Mr. Kaczka was born in Bayonne, NJ, the son of the late John and Agnes Kaczka. He was an Army Veteran Bronze Star recipient, who proudly served his country in WWII; worked as a postal carrier for the United States Post Office in Pequannock; and was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Lincoln Park, NJ. He is survived by his beloved children, Dennis and wife Janis, Robert and wife Kris, and Christine Bieganousky and husband Frank; a loving sister, Veronica Michalewsky; and seven beloved grandchildren and three cherished great-grandchildren. Ed was predeceased by his devoted wife Harriet (Suczewski) Kaczka. Viewing hours will be Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church (OLM), 2 Miller Rd., Kinnelon, NJ. The funeral Mass will be held Friday, 10 am also at OLM in Kinnelon. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 200 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ in his memory.
