Edwin Allmendinger

Edwin Allmendinger, age 87, of Kinnelon, died Sunday, June 14, 2009. Ed Allmendinger was born in Owosso, MI, the son of the late Edwin and the late Marie (Vandekarr) Allmendinger. He served in the US Army from 1942 to 1945, including two campaigns abroad during WWII. Ed is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Ingrid (Manthey) Allmendinger and his beloved children Lisa Allmendinger and Eric Allmendinger. Over a 50 year span he was owner of E.D. Allmendinger Int'l.. Sales Inc., New York, NY, and consultant for Dreyfus Int'l., East Rutherford, NJ to which he sold his company in 1984. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 5th at Allmendinger Park in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
