Eleanor M. Dericks

Eleanor M Dericks, of Cedar Crest, formerly of Fair Lawn, NJ, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the age of 93. Eleanor was parishioner of St. Catharine Church, Glen Rock, NJ for 60 years where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the AMPS. She was a long member of the YMCA in Ridgewood, NJ and a former volunteer at Bergen Pines Hospital. Eleanor is survived by her beloved daughters, Ellen Metcalfe and husband Paul, Elizabeth Barberis, Jeanne Horvath and her husband Louis and Catherine McNally and her husband Thomas, nine cherished grandchildren and six adored great-grandchildren. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward J. Sr. , and sons, Edward J. Jr., and Thomas Michael. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 3 to 7pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A Mass will be offered Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church Chapel, Kinnelon, NJ. Final disposition will be private.
