Elinor Merner

Elinor Merner, age 87, of Kinnelon, died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Merner was born May 11, 1920 in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Mary (McGuire) Duffy. She retired from Merner Real Estate Kinnelon, NJ in 1987, after 40 years.Devoted wife of the late Michael. Beloved mother of Mike Merner and wife Betty, Pat Merner and wife Michele, and Tim Merner and wife Darlene. Cherished grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother of five. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 25th ,2007, from 6 :00pm to 9:00 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be on Thursday, 11:00am also at the funeral home.Burial will be in Our Lady Of Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon on Thursday.In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to to your favorite charity in her memory.
