DOVER- Elizabeth "Libby" Atkins, age 94, of Dover,entered in to eternal rest, Thursday, July 6, 2006 atthe Dwelling Place Nursing Home in Dover, N.J. She wasborn March 31, 1912 in Bloomingdale,N.J., the daughterof the late Frank and the late Mame (Marion) Struble.Mrs. Atkins lived in Bloomingdale for 54 years beforemoving to Dover in 1966. She retired from DellPublishing in Montville in May of 1965. She loved bingo and attended 4 or 5 times a week. Shecrocheted afghans, carriage covers, and lap robes,which she donated to nursing homes. She was a soloistat many musicals presented by St. Anthony's Holy NameSociety in her youth. She was a parishioner of SacredHeart RC Church in Dover. She also loved Playing Pianofor family and friends.Devoted wife of the late William F. Atkins, Sr.Beloved mother of Mary Genevieve Whipple of LakeHiawatha, William F. Atkins Jr. and his wife Dorothyof West Milford, Mary Ann Agront and her husbandManuel of Dover, and Thomas H. Atkins and his wifeMarylou of Hopatcong. Loving grandmother of fifteencherished grandchildren, twenty six greatgrandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Friends and Relatives are invited to attend a funeralfrom Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue,Butler, NJ on Monday, July 10th, 2006 at 10:30 am,thence to St. Anthony RC Church, Butler,where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at11 AM. Burial to follow at Mt.Calvary Cemetery,Butler,N.J. Visiting will be onSunday from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. In lieu offlowers please donate to your local church or favoritecharity.
