She was especially devoted to her husband, Jack, spending many years with him, helping with their trucking business, riding motorcycles, visiting family and friends and traveling across the country in their motor home. Betty was a caring mother, steadfast grandmother and adoring great grandmother. Bettys faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was her bedrock. She loved to share her faith with others and thanked God for every day He gave to her. Bettys special faith and love for God and others shined in the many things she did. In the 70s, Betty volunteered for the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad and taught first aid as an instructor. For a time, Betty was a Girl Scout leader. Since 1969, Betty enjoyed Christian fellowship at the Jacksonville Chapel, Lincoln Park, NJ. At the Chapel, Betty found a steadfast and loving group of friends, many like sisters to her. For over twenty years, Betty worked as a school bus driver for Jordan Transportation, Butler. She retired last year. The children and parents, whose lives were touched by Betty, still ask for her. Bettys steadfast faith, strong spirit, special wisdom and love for others and life will remain with us forever.Viewing hours will be Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
