Elizabeth 'Betty' Ellen Shenise

Elizabeth Ellen "Betty" Shenise, age 81, a lifetime resident of West Milford, died Monday, September 8, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (Vreeland) Quackenbush. Betty, as known to all, graduated from Butler High School and Berkley Business School. She was a poll worker for Passaic County Board of Election for many years. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara Sandor and husband Michael, two cherished grandchildren, Malley Sandor and Joshua Sandor and wife Jocelyn, three sister-in-laws, Cecilia Cleary, Catherine Niemis and Lorraine Swagger. Betty was pre-deceased by her devoted husband, Sylvester "Pete" Shenise and a dear daughter Sharon, who passed away with cancer. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and her pet dog, Waldo. Visiting hours will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 12, at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler. All other services will be private.
