Elizabeth Cogavin

Elizabeth Cogavin , age 80, of Butler, NJ, after a brief illness on October 31, 2009. Elizabeth was born in Dublin, Ireland the youngest of 10 children, to her late parents Daniel and Eveline (nee Dowling) Coveney. Mrs. Cogavin was an Admistrative Assistant for 20 years at Werner & Pfleiderer in Ramsey, NJ, and was a parishoner at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. She is survived by her beloved children,Michael Cogavin and wife Donna and Mary Potter and husband Tim, two loving siblings, John Coveney and Nora Hull, both of Ireland, her cherished grandchildren, Zach, Rory, Sean, Chloe, Elizabeth, John, Tess, and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in America and Ireland. Elizabeth was pre deceased by her devoted husband John. Viewing hours will be Monday, November 2, 2009, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday,10am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon, NJ.
