Emanuele J. Barone of Kinnelon, NJ passed away peacefully passed on December 27,2024. He was born on March 28, 1935 to Rose and John Barone of Paterson, NJ. Manny enlisted in the National Guard and served while in his twenties. He was an employee of Cedar Grove Township for 35 years. Manny was an excellent bow hunter who loved to hunt and traveled North America to do so. He achieved Pope and Young archery awards and was honored by having his name on one of the bricks for doing so. He loved the outdoors and would rather be there than inside the house unless he was doing taxidermy. He was an excellent taxidermist and mastered the art of this craft as expected since beginning this career path starting when he was a teenager from reading books. He was also a proud lifetime member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Elaine, his children Susan, James and Gary, his daughter in law Jenni Rae and grandchildren Jill, Manny, Joey, Samanta and Lia,a great grandson Landon. Also his sister Veronica Herig. He is predeceased by siblings Robert Barone and Rita Piano. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
