Emma Popomaier

Emma Popomaier 97, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2022. Born in Schandra, Romania and emigrating to the U.S. with her family in 1952. She lived in Bloomingdale, N.J. for 25 years and was employed by Pathmark bakery for that time. Emma later moved to Pompton Lakes, N.J. where she lived with her daughter Emma until her passing. She was predeceased by her husband Stephan, her son Anthony, daughter Mary and grandson Nicholas. Emma is survived by her devoted daughters Emma and Kathi, loving grandchildren Nisha, Jeri-Ayn, Stephanie, Scott, Thomas and great grandsons, Luke and Jake. Emma was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church in Butler and St. Mary's in Pompton Lakes. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, N.J. A funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday, April 3, 2022, 10:00am at St. Anthony's Church, 63 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, N.J. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, N.J. .
