Evalyn Mae Regis

Evalyn Mae Regis, age 91, of Butler, died Sunday, January 26, 2014. Mrs Regis was born in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Walter and the late Elizabeth Van Orden. She was an executive secretary for Mack Wayne Plastics in Wayne, NJ before retiring after 30 years. Evalyn was a member and 2nd Vice President for the Butler XYZ's, volunteered her time for the Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa and was also a parishioner and member of the Rosary Alter Society of St. Anthony's RC Church in Butler. She is survived by her beloved children, Jacqualyn Grimes and husband John and Stephen Regis, three cherished grandchildren, Michele Quine and husband Richard, Beverly Decker and Denise Bird and husband Adam, four adored great grandchildren, Julie and Mason Decker and Jack and Sarah Bird and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Evalyn was pre deceased by her devoted husband John and a dear son John. Viewing hours will be Friday, January 31st, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Church, Butler. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Tri Boro First Aid Squad , P.O.
