Evelyn E. Gavula

Evelyn E. Gavula, age 92, of Haskell entered into eternal rest, Sunday, February 3, 2008 .Mrs. Gavula was born in Scranton, PA the daughter of the late William and the late Helen (Shea) Harrity. She was a self-employed teacher. Mrs. Gavula was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, Haskell, NJ, and she was a graduate of Bloomsburg State Teachers' College. She is survived by one loving daughter, Lauren Stackhouse and her husband Donald, three cherished grandchildren, Brian Stackhouse and wife Catherine, Jill Brown and husband Derrick, and Thomas Gavula. Evelyn is also survived by three adored great-grandchildren. She was pre deceased in life by her devoted husband John Sr., and one beloved son John Jr. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, February 6th ,2008, from 7pm-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral mass will be Thursday, at 10:30am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
