Evelyn Mccabe

Evelyn McCabe, ne Pearson, of Pompton Lakes, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 17th at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie Pearson. Evelyn married the love of her life, Thomas Joseph McCabe, on May 2nd, 1948 and they had seven children who they lovingly raised in Pompton Lakes. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Marys Catholic Church and lived the last 30 years of her life in West Milford, NJ. Evelyn was the proud matriarch of the McCabe Family. She devoted her life to her family and selflessly filled her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildrens lives with love. Evelyn was predeceased by her devoted and beloved husband, Thomas, loving sons Brian Scott and Tim Patrick, and dear siblings Anna, George, Joseph, Thomas, Mae, and Sally. She leaves behind her loving children, Thomas Joseph McCabe, Jr. of Damascus, PA, Patricia McCabe Smith and her husband Douglas B. of West Milford, NJ, Kevin Michael McCabe and his wife Donna Lynn of Slate Hill, NY, Tracey Ann McCabe of Mayer, AZ, and Michael Patrick McCabe and his wife Donna Marie of Highland Lakes, NJ, daughters-in-law Donna McCabe of New Hampton, NY and Lynne McCabe of Stockholm, NJ, her dear grandchildren Holly, Stacey, Jennifer, Justin, Kelly, Dayna, Erin, Tiffany, Katelyn, Melissa, Connor, Lauren, Ryan, Shannon, Ember, and Shalyn, and her adored great-grandchildren, Destin, Chance, Mason, Siena, Keegen, Madeleine, Arielle, and Genevieve. Also surviving is her cherished sister, Marjorie Olsen of Shelby, NC. All services were held in private.
