Evelyn R. Kane

Evelyn Regina Kane, 89, of Butler, NJ passed away at Arden Courts of Wayne on November 29, 2015. Born in Paterson, she was a clerk for New Jersey Bell. A social spirit, she was the former president of the XYZ Senior Club in Butler and loved bingo, dancing, and singing. A devoted wife to her late husband, Edward, and beloved mother to Leo, Thomas, Patrick, Timothy and Maureen, Evelyn will also be deeply missed by her daughters-in-law, Darlene and Jill. She is survived by her grandchildren, Gina and Leanne Kane, Erica Pugliese, her husband Jim, David, his wife Holly, and Mark Kane, Sarah, Olivia, Emily, and Abigail Schreiber. Evelyn was the adored great-grandmother of James Thomas (J.T.), Juliana, Alexander, and Colin. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Morrison Funeral Home at 86 Bartholdi Avenue in Butler, NJ on Tuesday, December 1, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 2, at St. Anthony's Church, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Evelyn's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
