Frances McFadyen (nee Lust), age 93, of Butler, NJ, entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2009. Frances was born in Cuba to her parents Leo and Anna Lust. Mr. Lust owned and operated a fruit packing business but returned to the United States to raise his family in the early 1920s. Mrs. Mc Fadyen was a bookeeper for 30 years at Excelsior Lumber Co., and was a parishoner at St. Anthony RC Church, both in Butler, NJ. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jan Courtney and husband Allen of Butler, NJ, and Lauren Shaughnessy and husband John of Spotswood, NJ,nine cherished grandchildren, her loving siblings, Leona Murray, Anita Boyd, Louise Walinsky, Gloria Grannis, Helen Ebers, and Lauren Proctor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Frances was pre deceased by her devoted husband Thomas, and her brother John Lust. Viewing hours will be Friday, October 2, 2009, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday,10am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. The final disposition will be held in private.
