Frank C. Yodice, Jr., age 69, of Butler died Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Mr. Yodice was born in Paterson, NJ. He served in the United States Navy from 1964-1968 as a Sea Bee during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of CN (E-3). After returning, he became a member of the local 102 Electricians Union and 4th degree black belt Sensei in Koei-Kan Karate. Mr. Yodice served with the Butler Police Department, Butler, NJ, for over 30 years, retiring as Captain in 2007. In the recent past, Mr. Yodice took much pride in and truly enjoyed his position as Secretary of the Blue Knights, Chapter 13. He was a lifetime member of the Honor Legion and lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Police, the PBA, and the VFW Post 8096 in Butler, NJ. Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Marrianne P. (Passenti) Yodice, his dear mother, Adeline (Naples) Yodice, his beloved children, Tara Lyn Yodice, Frank V. Yodice & wife Alicia, Nick Yodice, and Marc Yodice & wife Nicolette, his loving siblings, Marlene Van Vliet & husband Mike and Barbara Pavlak, six cherished grandchildren, Michael, Isabella, Rocco, Adriana, Matteo and Marco and five adored nieces and nephews, Scott, Andrea, Jarred, Charlie and Alexa. Frank was pre-deceased by his father, Frank Yodice, Sr. Viewing hours will be Friday, May 22nd, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00pm at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral Mass will be offered Saturday 11:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. All other services will be held in private.
