Frank Pron Sr., 81, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Frank was always a man with a kind word for anyone he met, loved life, looked for ways to make you smile and made you happy you met him. Frank was born in Dunmore, PA, to the late Lewis and Anna Pron. Grew up in Jersey City and graduated from Dickerson High School where he was a gymnast. He loved boxing and received Golden Gloves after competing in the Golden Gloves Tournament. He is a veteran of the Korean War and served as a paratrooper in the Army. Frank was a man of many talents and too many jobs to mention them all. He has lived in Butler since 1965. Frank was a member of the Teamsters Local #177 Retiree Chapter and worked as a driver for UPS in Parsippany before retiring after 27 years. He then worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Kinnelon Professional Building for 23 years. He is survived by his devoted loving wife of 24 years, Mary Murphy, his beloved children, Joyce Smith and husband Carl, Nancy Pron, Theresa De Bord and husband Kenneth, Frank Pron, Corinne Leake and husband William, William Pron and wife Tiffany, Christopher Coutts and wife Cheryl, William Coutts and wife Bia and Brian Coutts and wife Arzu, his loving brothers and sisters, Joseph Pron and wife Carmen, James Pron and wife Pat, Bill Pron and wife Heidi, Bob Pron and wife Lorraine and Jay Lukaszyk, his cherished grandchildren, Sandy, Michael, Dominic, Morgan, Taylor, Sydney, Max, Bailey, Lucas, Owen, Rylie, Ayden, Billy, Yazzie, Aydree, Isabela and Cooper and one cherished great grandchild, Christy. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by his twin brother, and brothers John, Lou and Phil and sisters Teresa and Mary and one grandchild Anthony. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016, from 7-9 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 11am also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be private.
