Frederick E Weber Jr, 81, of Kinnelon NJ, passed away October 26, 2019 peacefully at the VA Hospice in Lyons, NJ. He was surrounded by his wife Marie, daughter Angela Weber-Conlon and son in law, Joseph Conlon Jr of Kinnelon. Frederick was born on November 14, 1937 in Manhattan, NY, the son of Frederick & Helen Weber. He grew up in Elmhurst, NY and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was a dedicated history teacher for over 30 years at William J Gaynor in Brooklyn NY. He was drafted into the Army in 1964 during the Vietnam War and served his country for 4 years. Frederick married the love of his life Marie on December 22, 1973 and had a wonderful marriage of 46 years to his loving wife. He adored and cherished his beloved daughter Angela and his only grandchild Madison Weber- Conlon who was his greatest joy and the apple of his eye. Fred enjoyed many camping trips with the family pop up camper to Pennsylvania, Virginia and Myrtle Beach. He enjoyed going to his alumini football games with his brother- in law Phil Viverios at Wilkes University. Fred enjoyed many hobbies which included hunting trips with his buddies in upstate NY, teaching his daughter Angela to fish in Lake Reality, spending years doing genealogy on his family tree dating back to the 1800s. His biggest passion was restoring his 1951 MG TD, the car he bought in 1994 and spent 9 years restoring it. Fred was featured in MG Enthusiast in the November 2009 edition detailing his journey and history with his beloved car. He was quoted saying in the article his best award he ever received was at his MG Club Fathers Day picnic where his MG TD was voted the car people would most like to take home. Fred was an avid member of the MG Car Club of Central Jersey, devoted Catholic, member of OLM in Kinnelon, NJ, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Also celebrating his life are his sister Marianne Mactiernan and her husband Neil of Newton, PA and their children, his Godson Kenneth and nephews Vincent, Daniel, Garrett and Neil Jr, his sister in law and brother in law Joan and Phil Viverios of Meyerstown, PA and their children, his Goddaughter Cheryl Viverios, niece Cynthia White and nephew David Viverios and their children, and his nephew Damien LeBlanc.
