Gail J Mathews

Gail J. Mathews, 80, of Haskell, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. Gail was born in Bloomingdale, NJ daughter of the late Chester Allen and Helen Mae (Morgan) Van Orden. Gail was a wonderful person, loved being a homemaker, she never complained, and loved crafting, and playing cards with her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Edward R. Mathews, her beloved children, Dinah Smith and husband Tom, Sharon Hontz and husband John, Jackie Gail McGrady, Jo Anne Gould and husband Roger, Edward R. Jr. and his wife Mary and Jeannette Mathews and husband Victor Percastegui, her loving sisters, Gloria, Pat, Betty and Helen, her eight cherished grandchildren, Kristy, John, Randy, Amanda, Eddie, Rebecca, Ashley and Darrin and 12 adored great grandchildren. Gail was predeceased by her dear grandson Michael and 6 brothers and sisters. Viewing hours will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Hardyston Cemetery, Hamburg, NJ.
