Garrie R. Elliott

Garrie R. Elliott, age 82, of Butler died Saturday, July 4, 2009. Mr. Elliott was born in Bloomingdale, NJ, the son of the late Seward and the late Julia (Marion) Elliott. He served in the Navy during World War II, and was a carpenter at Excelsior Lumber Co. Butler, NJ, for 37 years. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his three beloved children, Linda Elliott and her partner Sandra Moskowitz, Marti Elliott, G. Roger Elliott and wife Kathleen, and long time companion Genevieve Koban. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Garrie was pre deceased by his devoted wife Katherine. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 from2 to 4pm, and 7 to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 10:00am also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler.
