Gary V DeFrino, passed away on March 16, 2014 at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ. He was born in Passaic, NJ was raised in Lyndhurst and was one of three children born to the late Andrew and Grace DeFrino. Gary graduated from Lyndhurst High School in 1965. He was employed at Leslie Company in Parsippany for over 25 years where he was a foundry coordinator and engineering partner. He then worked at Bel-Art Products in Pequannock as a manufacturing coordinator for 22 years. Gary will forever be remembered by his wife of 37 years, Cathy DeFrino, his brothers Robert and Mark DeFrino, his aunts, uncles as well as his many beloved nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Brandy. Gary was an avid fan of the New York Giants, and New York Rangers. He possessed a wealth of knowledge in relation to all sports and his true passion, cooking. Gary also enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially the yearly trips to Vermont. Gary touched the lives of many people with his outgoing personality, generosity and kind heart. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday March 20, 2014 11am at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A memorial visiting will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday also at the funeral home.
