George L. Harriott

George L. Harriott, age 77, of Butler died Monday, December 23, 2013. Mr. Harriott was born in Wanaque, NJ the son of the late Russell and the late Julia (Weaver) Harriott. He was a Forman for the groundskeepers at Fairleigh Dickinson, Madison, NJ and loved to fish and watch sports, especially the New York Yankees. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 loving years, Margaret A (Clickner) Harriott, his devoted children, Peggy VanHine and George L. Hariott Jr., seven loving siblings and four cherished grandchildren, Ashley and George L. Harriott III, Destiny VanHine and Shannon Matthews. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. George was pre deceased by five brothers and sisters. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, December 29th, 2013 from 6 :00 to 8:00 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. All other services will be private.
