George McConnell Bloomingdale - Services will be held on Saturday, February 20 for George McConnell, 78, of this community, who died on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mr. McConnell was born in Bloomingdale on February 7, 1943. He was a Machinist (Brazer) at Edwards Engineering, Pompton Plains, for 45 years before retiring. Mr. McConnell is survived by his son, George (Lorrie), Darrin (Roxanne), Chad (Dana), Dustin (Cheryl), nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Thelma (Parisi), his parents Mildred (Reynolds) & Al, his brothers Al & Hank and his sister, Betty Caywood.
