Gerald Pierone, "Jerry", age 79, of Pequannock, entered into eternal rest, Friday, April 20, 2007 in North Caldwell.Mr. Pierone was born March 23, 1928 in Newark, NJ the son of the late Michael and the late Emma (Tesone) Pierone. He married Joan Lewis September 18,1985 at United Methodist Church Of Hopatcong, NJ. He served in the Merchant Marine from 1944 to 1945 during World War II .He was self employed buyer for J.K. Cookware, in Pequannock,NJ Devoted husband of Joan (nee Lewis) for 22 loving years. Beloved father of Michael Pierone and wife Diane, Dr. Gerald Pierone Jr. and wife Dr. Nancy Cho, Gail Pierone- Cecere and husband John, Matthew Pierone and wife Rosemary, Terri Anne Malone and husband William, and Edward Klindt and wife Joann. Cherished grandfather of sixteen adored grandchildren. Also survived by one sister, and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 22nd , 2007, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Monday 11:00am also at the funeral home.At the families request the final disposition will be held in private.
