Gerald Wyble, age 93, lifelong resident of Bloomingdale, NJ died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Wyble was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the son of the late Cecil and the late Lena (Card) Wyble. He served in the Army during World War II, was a member of. Butler Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post No 8096 and the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church. He worked for many years as a Custodian for the Bloomingdale Board Of Education, spending most of his time at the Martha B. Day School. He is survived by his beloved children Tom and wife Mary and Dale Calabro and husband Pat, seven cherished grandchildren, Michele and Rich Quine, Beverly Decker, Denise and Adam Bird, Chris Wyble and partner William Stevens, Erin Newcomb and husband Matt and Christina Calabro and Cary Calabro, six cherished great grandchildren, Julie, Mason, Jack, Sarah, Lucy and Cora, former daughter in law Jacqueline "Jackie" Grimes and daughter in law Ronnie Wyble and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gerald is pre deceased by his devoted wife, Sarah "Sally" Wyble and a dear son Barry. Viewing hours will be Thursday, June 12th, 2014 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be Friday 11:00 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church 65 Main St, Bloomingdale, NJ, 07403, in his memory.
