Geraldine Canning “Geri” Wilson, 80, of Kinnelon, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Geri Wilson was born February 11, 1943, in Bronx, NY. After spending her childhood in New York City, Geri briefly lived in Ohio and Pennsylvania before settling in northern New Jersey for her entire adult life.

An award-winning real estate agent, Geri’s clients often became her friends as she helped them find the perfect home. In addition, she was involved in numerous civic activities and community service, while finding her greatest joy in spending time with family.

Geri is survived by her sister Ann Rodman (Karl), of New Paltz, NY; daughter Augusta (Tim) of Shelburne, VT; son Jeff (Stacy) and grandchildren Tate and Thayer of Ridgewood, NJ; special friend Howie Rosenthal of Butler, NJ and his son Peter (Connie); Nephew Ben (Mimi) and their children Sam and Carrie; Niece Rebecca (Norm) and their children Abby and Eleanor; as well as many close friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Louie Rizzo and Catherine Canning.

Geri was deeply loved and will be remembered by family and friends for her warm, generous, and thoughtful spirit.

A celebration of Geri’s life will be held on Saturday, June 10, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, service at 4:00pm, at the Morrison-Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ 07405
