Geraldine Elizabeth Delazier

Geraldine Elizabeth DeLazier, 97, passed away March 14, 2017. The daughter of the late Russell and Louise Sehulster was a lifelong resident of Bloomingdale and graduated as Valedictorian from Butler HS in 1938. Geraldine was a longtime member of the Bloomingdale Environmental Commission and worked for many years as a professional secretary at American Cyanamid and Smoke Rise. She is survived by her children Thomas Delazier and Sally Ann Sayle, her loving sister Jean Van Orden, seven cherished grandchildren and 11 adored great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Geraldine was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert and her loving siblings Charles Sehulster, Irene Brouhard, Ellen Krec and Thomas Sehulster. Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, 9 AM, at St. Anthony's RC Church in Butler. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery also in Butler. A repast will be held at the Bloomindale Firemans Hall immediately following the burial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Family Reach and mail to 2001 Route 46, Suite 310, Parsippany, NJ 07054 in her memory.
