Gloria L Fontanazza

Gloria L. Fontanazza passed away peacefully on February 18th, 2022, at the age of 98 while under hospice care for a very short time. She will be greatly missed by family and friends that remember her with love and appreciation. Gloria was born January 18th, 1924, to Jacob and Louise Fischer in Jersey City, NJ. Gloria was predeceased by her husband Pietro (Peter) Fontanazza, her sister Doris Fischer and brother Fredrick Fischer. She is survived by daughter Linda Grinnik and her husband Wayne, son Wayne Fontanazza and his wife Barbara, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. After retiring from the Oakland BOE office in 1988, where she worked in Accounts Receivable, she and her husband enjoyed traveling thru Europe and the United States. She remained cognitively sharp thru her 98 years and was able to reminisce about her childhood memories to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda and Wayne are planning a celebration of her life on a date and location yet to be determined. . There are no gallery images.
