Gloria Ruth Fawcett

Gloria Fawcett, age 89, of West Milford, died Saturday, June 22, 2019. Gloria was born in Brooklyn, NY to her parents Frederic and Harriett Matthews. She later moved to Paterson and Butler, before enjoying her last 29 years in West Milford, NJ. Gloria was a stay at home mom before her husband passed. She worked at Kresge/McCory's until she retired and then took care of her grandchildren. Anyone who knew her, loved her and she treated everyone like family. She is predeceased by her husband Ugene (Franklyn) Fawcett, her brother Chris and sisters Ethel and Dorothea and her sons Freddie and Ugene Fawcett. Gloria is survived by her beloved children, Lisa McClurg (Tim McClurg), Ethel Fawcett, Dorie Fawcett, and Gloria Centinaro and by 13 cherished grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 7-9PM, at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:30AM, also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 200 McLean Blvd., Paterson, NJ.
