Grace Batelli

Grace Batelli, 78 of Riverdale, NJ passed away peacefully, Tuesday January 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. Grace was born in Weehawken, NJ to the late Spencer and Margaret (Connors) Elphick. Grace married her husband Thomas Batelli on June 12, 1965, and together raise four children. Grace was the social editor for the Suburban Trends for 25 years, a BYO Board Member, a Tri Boro Little League volunteer, and enjoyed her card games with the Powder Mill Card Club. Grace and Tom moved from Bloomingdale to Riverdale in 2005. Grace is survived by her loving husband Thomas Batelli, children, Thomas J. Batelli and his wife Geri, Dennis M. Batelli and his wife Maryann, and Kristy Freeman and her husband Quan, four adored grandchildren, Thomas Batelli, Joseph Batelli, Anna Batelli, and Rachel Batelli. Brothers, Thomas Elphick, Dennis Elphick, Kevin Elphick, and Joseph Elphick, sisters Eileen Mac, Margaret (Peggy) Donaldson and Maureen Val. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Spencer and Margaret Elphick, son Daniel Batelli, and brothers, Timothy Elphick and Terence Elphick. Visitation will be held on Monday January 31, 2022, from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave Butler, NJ 07405. A funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday February 1, 2022, 10:00am at St. Anthonys RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will immediately follow mass at St Thomas the Apostle RC Cemetery, Oak Ridge, NJ.
