Guillermo Villalba died on Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home in Bloomingdale, NJ with his loving wife Carmenza and devoted son Jimmy by his side. He was 83 years old. Born on September 17, 1937 in Viota, Colombia to Julio Villaba Wiliamson and Bertha Suarez Motta, Guillermo was a very loved man by many people. He loved working as an aerospace engineer. He was an inventor, a creator and loved spending his time problem solving through the creation process. Guillermo was a man who was extremely kind, loving and gentle. He loved being surrounded by his family, telling great stories about his childhood in Colombia with all his siblings and going to work with his father. He was a man that you could go to for anything and he would be there to give advice or a shoulder to lean on. He had the biggest heart. He was so proud of all of his siblings and would light up when he talked about them. He loved the game of soccer and in his younger years teaching his grandchildren how to play the sport. He loved his morning paper and a nice cup of coffee, the small things in life he really appreciated. Guillermo was a truly special man and will forever be loved and missed. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of his loving wife Carmenza Villalba, his children Amanda Ruth Villalba-Rickert and Jimmy Villalba, his two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his brothers Horacio Villalba, Roberto Villalba, Miguel Villalba, Julio Villalba, Fernando Villalba, Arturo Villalba, Luis Alberto Williamson and sister Elisabeth Kowalski. Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021, from 9:00 am-11:00 am at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 11:00 am also on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ. Nacido el 17 de septiembre de 1937 en Viota, Colombia, hijo de Julio Villaba Wiliamson y Bertha Suarez Motta, Guillermo fue un hombre muy querido por muchas personas. Le encantaba trabajar como ingeniero aeroespacial. Era un inventor, un creador y le encantaba dedicar su tiempo a resolver problemas a travs del proceso de creacin. Guillermo era un hombre sumamente amable, carioso y gentil. Le encantaba estar rodeado de su familia, contar grandes historias sobre su infancia en Colombia con todos sus hermanos e ir a trabajar con su padre. Era un hombre al que se poda acudir para cualquier cosa y estara all para dar consejos o un hombro en el que apoyarse. Tena el corazn ms grande. Estaba tan orgulloso de todos sus hermanos y se entusiasmaba cuando hablaba de ellos. Le encantaba el ftbol y en su juventud enseaba a sus nietos a practicar este deporte. Le encantaba su peridico matutino y una buena taza de caf, las pequeas cosas de la vida que realmente apreciaba. Guillermo fue un hombre verdaderamente especial y siempre ser amado y extraado. Su recuerdo ser apreciado y mantenido vivo en el corazn de su amada esposa Carmenza Villalba, sus hijos Amanda Ruth Villalba-Rickert y Jimmy Villalba, sus dos nietos, tres bisnietos, sus hermanos Horacio Villalba, Roberto Villalba, Miguel Villalba, Julio Villalba, Fernando Villalba, Arturo Villalba, Luis Alberto Williamson y su hermana Elisabeth Kowalski. .
