Harold E. Barber "Skip", age 75, of Bloomingdale, NJ, formerly of Passaic, NJ, died Thursday, November 19, 2009. Mr. Barber was born in Passaic, NJ, the son of the late Harold and the late Anna (Kalas) Barber. He served in the Army as a Medic in San Antonio and also taught chemistry while he was there. Skipp, a brilliant man, was the president of the Bloomingdale Jaycees, a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University receiving two degrees, and in honor of his passion to live a new state of the art medical clinic will be named after him. He is survived by his devoted wife Arlene J (Sudol) Barber, his beloved children, Michele Barber, Scott Thomas Barber and wife Tracey, and Karen Cerasiello, a loving brother Robert and wife Bettyann, and four cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Lindsey, Samantha, and Alexandra. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Sunday, November 22, 2009, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be held Monday 10:00am at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
