Harry James Bryant

Harry James Bryant was born March 27, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the beloved son of the late Daisy Lee and William Jennings Bryant. He departed from this earthly life at the age of 65, peacefully and entered into his eternal life with the Lord on January 8, 2020. Harry was preceded in death by his three Brothers, David, Charles and Samuel Bryant and Sister Lena Bryant. Harry was raised in New York, graduated in 1971, from Samuel Gompers Vocational Technical School in Bronx, NY. He served 4 years in the U.S. Army, 2nd Battalion 57, Air Defense Artillery officer. He attended The Fashion Institute of Technology and Pratt Institute. He received an Associates degree in Occupational Studies- Electronic Circuit & Systems, at Technical Careers Institute. In 2006, he received an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Harry was employed at Dulles International Airport, in Virginia, since 2007, as an Electronic Technical Engineer. He previously worked at C-Cor Net, and IBM for several years. Harry rededicated his life back to the Lord in 1990. He was a member of Ebenzer Baptist Church, Bronx, NY, were he was baptized and ordained to Deacon by the late Rev. J. Brewner. He graduated from Bible Way Bible College 1991, he received certificate(s) in Biblical Studies and the Old & New Testaments. He leaves to cherish his life, 4 loving beautiful daughters, LeChaun Bryant, Michele Bryant, Marlena Bryant-Tirrell (Luke), NJ. (late Sheryl L. Fisher, mother of (3) daughters), Vernese A. Bryant, SC. Brothers: William Bryant, NY. Andre Bryant, KY. Kenny Bryant(Teresa), MD. Sisters: Obie Bryant- Palmer(Leroy)SC., baby Sis. Beatrice Bryant-Byers, NY., and his loving friend and partner Stacey Weathers, MD. (Johnson family). 11 Grandchildren, 1 Godchild and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Special devoted 1st cousin like a brother Mr. Glenn Moore,VA. Harry was loved by all that knew him. He was caring, always willing to offer support and encouraging words. He loved all of his family. Harry will mostly be remembered by his loud laughter and funny gestures. Always kept a smile no matter what challenges he was facing. He was a wonderful loving down to earth person.
