Helen Leek

Helen Leek, 87, a long-time resident of Butler, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010. She was a member of St. Anthony's RC Church in Butler. Mrs. Leek was employed by Bell Telephone Systems for over 26 years, retiring from New Jersey Bell in 1972. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Helen was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles in 1962. She dedicated most of her life to caring for her developmentally disabled sisters, Mary and Sophie Nemeth who survive her. Visiting hours will be Thursday, February 4th, 2010, from 2pm to 4pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A mass will be offered on Friday 10am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, NJ, in memory of Helen Leek.
