Helen M Guenter

Helen M. Guenter, 91, a lifelong resident of Butler, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 7th 2022. Helen was the daughter of the late Douglas and Margie (Hopler) Morse. Helen worked for New Jersey Bell, then was a driver for First Student, formerly Boonton Transport, for over 30 years and was an aide at Chilton Hospital. Helen was a member of the Butler United Methodist Church, she was active in bible study, the Naomi Circle, and bell choir. She volunteered her time as a counter on Sunday mornings and in the Gleaners Thrift Shop. Helen is survived by her loving sons, John Guenter and Jeremy Guenter and his wife Fumi, adored grandsons, Jason and Ethan, beloved sister, Barbara Bailey and her husband Robert as well as many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Guenter, Sr. in 2014. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 9:00am-11:00am at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 11:00 am, Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
