Helen M. Vater

Helen Vater, 67, of Butler, passed away on Nov. 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Helen was a proud alumna of Butler High School Class of 1972, a former employee of Kinney Kelly Cleaners of Butler, and QuickChek of Bloomingdale and Franklin. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Anna Margaret (Maggie) and Theodore (Babby) Babcock as well as her sister, Theodora (Teadie) Jardine. She is survived by her three sisters: Elizabeth Madrigal (Carlos), Roberta Canty (William), and Lucy Babcock, as well as 4 nephews, 3 nieces, and their respective spouses and families. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Butler United Methodist Church, 5 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ.
