Howard J Bedell, Jr, 74, of Butler, passed away suddenly, October 29, 2018. Howard was born in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Howard J Bedell Sr and Willa Smith Bedell. Howard worked in maintenance at the Atrium of Wayne, NJ. He loved his family, friends and racing. Howard is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara, of 56 loving years; his children, Christine McCoy and her husband, Robert; Richard Bedell and his wife, Eileen and Howard Bedell and his wife, Blythe, son-in-law Jim Spellmon; his cherished grandchildren, Christopher Allard, Jesse Allard, Melissa Allard, Jimmy Spellmon, Danny Spellmon, Rachael Spellmon, TJ Nicholas, Jake Bedell and Richie Bedell; his adored great-grandchildren, Hailey Russell, Taylor Allard, Carter Eckrote, Brayden Eckrote, and Christopher Allard, Jr.; his brother Thomas Bedell and his wife Patricia and his sisters, Susan Chambrone, Anita Kimble and her husband, Brian and sister-in-law Ingrid Bedell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Howard is pre deceased by his dear daughter, Barbara Spellmon, great granddaughter, Addison Marie Allard, a loving brother, Donald and a sister, Patricia Coslet. Viewing hours will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2018, from 4 to 8 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. Funeral service will be held Thursday 11 AM also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery also in Butler.
