Hugh "Skip" MacKenzie Corbett Thomson, 82 of Bloomingdale passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010. Born in Alexandria, Scotland, Hugh came to the US in 1930 at the age of 2 with his parents and older brother John. He became a citizen of the US in 1960 and was a US Army Veteran. Hugh was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and was employed by Pantasote and Gilmar Laminating Companies. He retired from the Pequannock School System in 1998. Hugh is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann, his sons Gary of Pompton Plains, Randy of Wayne and Dan of Oak Ridge, and their wives Heather, Linda and Amy, his grandchildren Michael, Alanna, Tyler, Colin, Nathaniel and Benjamin. He was pre deceased by his brother John in 2008. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at The Morrison Funeral Home in Butler, a funeral Mass at 10Am Thursday at St Anthony's Church and interment at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Butler.
