Irene Petrera

Irene was born on 18 November 1944 to John Petrera and Jennie Perfelio in Paterson, NJ. Irene enjoyed the simple life and lived life on her terms. She loved everyone unconditionally. Irene was a huge fan of the Beatles and Elvis and would always be the life of a party with her dancing and singing. Irene would sing a heartfelt version of "Love Me Tender" to a crowd without hesitation. Separately, food being tender will never be the same!

Irene was predeceased by her parents John and Jennie as well as her brother John Petrera and niece Laura Petrera. She is survived by her nephew John Petrera and her nieces Kimberly and Michele. Irene was close to her great nieces Laura, Rebecca, Sara, and Keira, as well as great nephew Zeb.

A private service is being held for close family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memories of Irene are shared on the dedication page.
