Istvan Laszlo Mohos, 76, of Kinnelon, NJ, passed away on February 17th, 2022. He was born in Hungary on February 23, 1945, the son of Stephen C. Mohos and Aranka Szertich. He was naturalized on December 20th, 1971, in the United States. He married Wimberly Carter on September 10, 1970, whom he had met at the Manhattan School of Music. Istvan played the violin professionally and performed in the pit orchestras of On Your Toes and in Brigadoon on Broadway, as well as in the Phoenix Symphony. Istvan was not only an outstanding musician, but a gentle, creative man who enjoyed inventing toys for his son, such as a remote controlled solar powered paddle boat made out of plastic coke bottles. Professionally, he was also employed by HHB Softron for many years and was a member of the Fayson Lakes Achievers where he will always be remembered as a creative soul. He is survived by his son Quentin who is currently visiting but lives in Utah. The funeral service will be private, and his ashes will be taken for burial by his son to Utah. .
