James Charles Neill

James C. Neill, 52, of Denville, formally of Kinnelon and Butler, passed away on February 27, 2018. Jim was born in Ridgewood, NJ, and worked as a superintendent for the Morris County Park Commission in Morristown NJ. Jim was a former Fire Chief and Department Chief for the Butler Fire Department, an Exempt Firefighter, member of the Morris County Fire Chiefs Association, the New Jersey Firemans Association and also worked as the night manager for Foodtown and Edwards food stores. He survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Christine Neill, his beloved mother Dolores Neill, his cherished sons, Brian, Daniel and Nicholas Neill and his loving siblings, Charles Neill and Angelina Thomas. He was predeceased by his father, James H. Neill. Viewing hours will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018, from 4 to 9 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A mass will be held on Monday, 10 AM, at St. Anthonys RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
