James J. Roche

James J. Roche, 28, of Plymouth, MN, formerly of Bloomingdale, died on January 8, after losing his battle with addiction. A graduate of Butler High school, Jim was a member of IBEW Local 292, in Minneapolis, MN and a former member of IBEW Local 102, in Parsippany. Beloved son of the late Linda Sue Roche (nee Scheiber) and the late James W. Roche. Gone way too soon! To anyone taking the time to read this who is struggling with addiction, keep in mind that there are people who care who can help, no matter what circumstances. Jim's struggles have ended. He is finally at peace. The world has lost another to this horrible disease.Jimmy is survived by his loving sister, Annmarie Roche, his paternal grandparents Marie and Jim Roche, Damascus, PA; his Aunt Lorraine Vojt and husband Tim, Columbus, OH; Aunt Patricia Hopping, Morristown, NJ; Uncle Mark Roche and wife Denise, Butler, NJ; cousins Hannah and Emily Vojt, and Megan and Mallory Roche. James is also survived by his girlfriend Liz Romano of Circle Pines, MN. Jim was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Ann Scheiber of Bloomingdale. Cremation was held in private. A heartfelt thanks to The CRC and all the people there that helped him work a life of recovery from addiction. The CRC helped Jim develop a strong spiritual connection which truly helped him through his recovery. A gathering of Jim's family and friends will be held at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave Butler, NJ on Saturday March 3, 2018, between 10am and 12 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday also at the funeral home.
