James N. Phillips, of Bloomingdale, NJ, 78, on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. James was born in Bloomingdale to the late James. And the late Leona (Weir) Phillips. James was a Land Surveyor for Edward Brands Inc. Sussex, NJ, a Army veteran and a long time volunteer at the Butler Museum. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Liza Phillips and Jamie Phillips, his loving siblings, David B. Phillips and wife Aglaia and Patricia Mandeville and four cherished nieces and nephews, Heather Worzel, Leona Phillips, Tim Mandeville and Christopher James Phillips. Viewing hours will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 10am to 12:30pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held 12:30pm on Tuesday also at the funeral home. All other services will be private.
