James R. Carlson

James R. Carlson of Conway, SC passed away at home surrounded by his family on Monday May 30th 2022. Mr. Carlson was born in Paterson and lived in Bloomingdale and West Milford before moving to Florida in 2013 and Conway, SC later in 2019. James was an Ironworker with Local 11 for 30 years before retiring in 2008. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, and being with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Teash (Meyer) Carlson; his loving children Crystal Carlson, Kathleen Carlson & fianc Matt Nielsen, Amy Gallo & husband Nick and son James R. Carlson & wife Lauren. His cherished grandson Joshua and loving granddaughters Olivia and Mia. James was predeceased by his parents, Elmer & Eleanor (Park) Carlson and brother Robert Carlson and wife Claire Fratello. A visitation will be held at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ, Friday June 10, 2022 from 4 to 8pm. A Mass will be held Saturday June 11th at 10am at St Anthonys.
