Jane Eloise Dilzer

October 28, 1941 — December 6, 2010

Jane Eloise (Grimley) Dilzer, aged 69 years, went the beauty of the Lord on December 6, 2010, following complications from Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Passaic, New Jersey to the late Eugene Burhans Grimley, Jr. and Cornelia Jane (Stevens) Grimley on October 28, 1941, Jane lived her joyful life with exuberance and shined love on all those she touched. In June of 1959, she graduated from Ramapo Regional High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and on July 3, 1963 she completed her training and received her diploma in the Art of Nursing from the Paterson General Hospital, where she was employed for 30 years as a maternity ward and delivery room nurse. Prior to her death, Jane administered Hospice care to the suffering and terminal of Morris County, providing palliative and comforting care to those in their final days. Jane loved all things in nature, and saw the beauty of God's hand in all she saw. She was an avid Girl Scout leader, cub scout den mother, high school band supporter, and took an earnest interest in all her children's endeavors. Jane proudly raised Lhasa Apso dogs that showed and placed in many a competition. Her joy came from her children and spending time with them any chance she got, especially at the family cabin and lake house at Beaver Dam in New York State. Jane is survived by her husband of 43 years Donald Charles Dilzer of Butler; their children Donald Scott Dilzer and his wife Annette (Froehlich) Dilzer and their 2 children Benjamin Nicholas Dilzer and Lauren Nichole Dilzer of Berryville, VA; her twin brother Eugene Burhans Grimley III and his wife Jo (McAdams) Grimley of Elon College, NC; her sister Betsey Hines (Grimley) Krum and her husband Jim of Strykersville, NY; and a brother Mark Grimley, living in Australia. Condolences may be made to Morrison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please honor Jane by supporting your local Hospice providers.
