Jane Marie Taggart

Jane (Shenise) Taggart, age 58, entered into eternal rest, on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Jane was born in Pompton Plains, NJ. She enjoyed her childhood years in West Milford, NJ and most of her married life in Brookfield, CT. Her last years were spent in Glassboro, NJ where she died peacefully in her home.She was predeceased by her loving husband of 28 years, John J. Taggart, and her parents Bert and Paul Shenise. She is survived by her daughter Colleen Taggart and her sister, Patricia Smerak, her mother-in-law, Joan Taggart, several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and two great nephews.Jane graduated from Seton Hall University and then began her professional career at IBM, where she worked until she left due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, church community and watching the Yankees! However, Janes greatest pleasure was raising her daughter with John.Viewing hours will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017, from 3-5 & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. Final viewing will be Wednesday morning at 9:30am with funeral prayer service at 10:30am at The Morrison Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Mt.
