Jean H Sisco

Beloved Mother & GrandmotherJean H. (Monsaert) Sisco 85 of Bloomingdale died peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2014. Born in Paterson, she resided in Bloomingdale for the past 66 years. A graduate of Eastside HS, Jean worked as a cafeteria aide for the Bloomingdale Board of Education for over 25 years at both the Samuel R. Donald and Martha B. Day Schools in addition to running their Substitute Teacher Calling Service. She is a member of the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, a former Sunday School teacher and served as their Brownie Troop and Girl Scout Leader for many years. Jean is a member and Past President of the Bloomingdale Senior Citizens, a former Co-Director of the Bloomingdale Summer Recreation Program, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #8096 in Butler and a Lifetime member of the Bloomingdale PTA. She also served on the Passaic County Juvenile Conference Committee for 32 years. Jean is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Harold "Buck" Sisco, who died in 2000 and by a sister, Mae Wilson. She is survived by three children, Kathy Jean Sisco of Pompton Lakes, Robert W. Sisco and wife, Linda of Morristown and Marjorie Georgieff and husband, German of Little Egg Harbor, and by five grandchildren Ryan Katherine and Jeffrey Sisco, Michael, Christopher and Alexandra Georgieff. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ 07405. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Memorial Donations to the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, 51 Morris Ave., Butler, NJ 07405 are preferred to flowers.
