Jewel Hazekamp

Jewel Hazekamp, age 85, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Kearny and Butler, passed way Saturday, February 26, 2022. Mrs. Hazekamp was born in Orange, NJ the daughter of the late Frank and the late Catherine Marie (Mulligan) Mc Ivers. She Taught 8th grade English for many years in the Pequannock School system. Jewel is survived by her beloved daughter Janice Whalen and husband Philip, dear son in law, Doug Vance, a loving sister, Catherine Sullivan, of Massachusetts, her cherished grandchildren, Philip and wife Ruth and Terence and wife Natalie and 2 adored great grandsons. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Frederick W. Hazekamp Jr. and loving daughter, Diana Vance. All services were held in private.
