Joan C. Junta

Joan C. Junta, 85 of Butler, NJ., passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday April 2. Born in Nutley, NJ., she was the daughter of the late John and the late Catherine (O'Donnell) Hartman. Joan was a school bus driver for many years for the Butler Board of Education. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and was passionate about animals. Joan is survived by her daughter Catherine M. Junta and her husband Ron. Her niece Debra Schnell and three nephews, Alan Goetlel, Glenn Goetlel, and Mark Goetlel. She is also survived by a good friend Abe Mendel and her beloved dog, Dexter. Joan was predeceased by her husband Andrew. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave Butler, NJ. Interment will be held in private.
